About Colleen Haskell
Colleen Marie Haskell (born December 6, 1976) is an American actress and producer. She rose to fame as a contestant on the very first season of the reality show Survivor (U.S.).
Haskell was part of the Pagong tribe, which was largely made up of younger adults compared to their rivals, the Tagi tribe. She eventually became the last remaining original Pagong member before being voted out.
Upon her elimination, she told the remaining castaways, “Be nice, play fair,” just before her torch was extinguished. Fellow contestant Richard Hatch later described her as “a wonderful person.”
Many fans expected Haskell to return for the Survivor: All-Stars edition in 2004. Producer Mark Burnett later revealed she had indeed been invited back but declined, saying she had moved on with her life and wasn’t interested in going through the experience again.
In 2001, she starred in the comedy film The Animal as Rob Schneider’s love interest. Schneider mentioned on the DVD commentary that working with Colleen had been one of the most enjoyable aspects of making the film. Haskell also guest-starred in an episode of That ’70s Show as Hyde’s romantic interest. The following year, in 2002, she appeared in the television series Maybe It’s Me. Later, in 2003, she worked behind the scenes as a production assistant on The Michael Essany Show
