Daughter of singer Luciano Rondinella and granddaughter of Giacomo Rondinella, she began her film career with small parts in films set in Naples directed by Ciro Ippolito. She made her television debut in 1983 with Il matrimonio di Caterina, directed by Luigi Comencini.
