On October 3, 1979, Jennings died in a car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway near Topanga, California. She was 29.
Mary Eileen "Mimi" Chesterton (December 20, 1949 – October 3, 1979), known professionally as "Claudia Jennings", was an American actress and model. Jennings was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for November 1969 and also Playmate of the Year for 1970.
She subsequently pursued a career in acting, and was known as the "Queen of B movies".

I assume some of these photos weren't published until later. 1971 was when playboy officially broke the "bush barrier".

July 1968 was the first playmate centerfold that showed pubic hair. But Jan 71 was first full frontal pubes. Jan 72 was full frontal labia. Both won PMOY for it. Penthouse did it in the 60s,showed full pubes,and came to USA in September 1969 to compete,so Playboy had to start showing more pubes gradually, until Jan 1971, 30 months after July 1968 start. Also Paula Kelly, a black woman, showed FULL PUBES 17 months earlier, in the August 1969 issue,but she was not the centerfold. That still counts! So Jan 71 is the first white woman full show of pubes. First partial pubes was a white woman, 13 months earlier in July 1968.

Liv Lindeland wasn't full frontal, exactly, in her Jan. 1971 centerfold. You could just see a tuft of her pubic hair.
And Marilyn Cole was full frontal in her Jan. 1972 centerfold, but there was no labia showing. You couldn't even get a very good look at her pubic hair, because there was a shadow cast on it.
