About Claire King
Claire King is an English actress, she is best known for her role as the iconic villainess Kim Tate in the TV soap opera Emmerdale from 1989 to 1999 and again since 2018. She is also known for her other roles as Karen Betts in the TV prison drama series Bad Girls from 2000 to 2004, and as Erica Holboyd in the TV soap opera Coronation Street from 2014 to 2017.
She appeared nude on-screen in the 1989 horror film Cold Light of Day.

I've been a fan of this beautiful lady for over 30 years. Of course famous for playing Kim Tate in Emmerdale. One of Britain's biggest soap stars. I thought she was born in Harrogate.

Still for me the Queen of Emmerdale. The character is terrible, but unforgettable. My favourite Kim moment was when she left Frank to die and instead of calling for an ambulance she powdered her nose. Iconic.
