Cecilia Salamanca, also known as Cecy Salamanca, is a Mexican television presenter and weather reporter. She was born on September 23, 1992, in García, Nuevo León, Mexico.
Salamanca began her career in television at a young age, with her first opportunity at Grupo Multimedios coming through the children's program "La Casita de las Muñequitas," where she participated for approximately three to four years. She studied television communication at university.
In February 2018, she was introduced as the new host of the Saturday edition of the program "Vivalavi." Her role subsequently focused on weather segments, delivering forecasts on the Milenio and Telediario platforms. Salamanca always had the goal of entering news broadcasting, recalling watching architect Héctor Benavides Fernández on the news and being amazed. After several casting calls, she was confirmed for the weekend evening newscast, covering Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
She became known for her work on Multimedios Televisión and Milenio Noticias, where she participated in both morning and evening news segments. In November 2025, Salamanca announced her departure from Grupo Multimedios, saying goodbye to Telediario Medio Día and the 5 PM Milenio Televisión newscast. She stated she was leaving "deeply grateful" and ready to undertake new projects with the same passion for communication.
She is known for her adventurous spirit, having shared a video on Instagram in 2018 while practicing skydiving.
