About Cecilia Galliano
Cecilia Beatriz Galliano (born October 5, 1981, in Marcos Juárez, Córdoba, Argentina) is an Argentine actress, model and television presenter who has developed most of her career in Mexico. Her birth name is Carmen de la Trinidad Galliano.
At age 16, she moved to Buenos Aires, where she worked as a model and waitress in a restaurant near the Obelisk. At 19, she moved to Mexico, where she worked with photographer Enrique Covarrubias and became the model for his campaign that year. She later obtained the role of Aphrodite in Televisa's broadcasts during the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Galliano has hosted several television programs including Los 10 Primeros (the hit list for Ritmoson Latino), Amantes del Café on Canal de las Estrellas, and ¡Qué tarde tan padre! alongside Cuban journalist Ismael Cala in 2008. From October 2010 to June 2016, she was the presenter of Sabadazo alongside Laura G, Omar Chaparro and Alma Cero.
In acting, she portrayed Violeta Ruiz Carballo/Demon Lucifer/Satan's woman in the telenovela Una familia con suerte (2011-2012). She has also appeared in productions including La Desalmada (2021), Más vale sola (2024) and Sin ella (2010).
In her personal life, Galliano married Argentine actor Sebastián Rulli on December 31, 2007. The couple had a son in 2010 before divorcing on July 12, 2011. She was subsequently in a relationship with actor Mark Tacher from 2011 to 2014.
Despite having spent more than 20 years living in Mexico and having a Mexican son, Galliano has not requested Mexican nationality, as she feels reluctant about having to sing the Mexican national anthem in public.
