Carolina Miranda Olvera (born 24 June 1990 in Irapuato, Guanajuato) is a Mexican actress and television host. She is best known internationally for her role as Vicenta Acero “La Coyote” in the Telemundo series Señora Acero and as Elisa Lazcano in the Netflix series ¿Quién mató a Sara? (Who Killed Sara?).
Miranda studied Communication Sciences and began her career as a model and radio host at age 18. She made her television acting debut in 2012 with a role in the telenovela Los Rey, and gained further recognition in Mexico with appearances in telenovelas such as Las Bravo and the anthology series Lo que callamos las mujeres.
Her breakthrough came with Señora Acero, where she played the lead role of Vicenta Acero, a character that became one of the most iconic in recent Latin American television. She later expanded her international profile with ¿Quién mató a Sara? on Netflix and starred as Camila Román in the 2023 series Perfil falso. Additional notable credits include Tierra de esperanza, La mujer del diablo, and Mujeres asesinas, for which she received an International Emmy nomination for her performance as Esmeralda.
In addition to acting, Miranda has worked as a TV presenter, model, and author, having published a book of poetry titled 27 poesías at age 17.
