About Carol Garcia
Carol Garcia ( Born March 31, 1986, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ) Is a Brazilian actress and screenwriter born in Rio de Janeiro. She started in theater as a child, at age 11, to overcome her shyness. Before going to television, she became well-known on the internet for working for four years on the comedy videos of the YouTube channel Parafernalha.
On TV Globo, she gained much fame with two highly successful telenovelas. Her debut was in "A Dona do Pedaço" (2019), where she played the character Sabrina and was nominated for the Best New Actress award. Later, she also stood out in the role of Betina in the telenovela "Quanto Mais Vida, Melhor!" (2021).
Recently, she began working on major streaming series. She starred in the comedy "Sem Filtro" (2023) on Netflix and, in 2025, took on the most significant role of her career in the series "Tremembé" on Prime Video. In this drama and suspense production, she portrays the real-life figure of Elize Matsunaga, showcasing her talent beyond comedy as well.
