About Cara McCutchen
Cara McCutchen is a Canadian heavy metal musician. She’s been the lead vocalist for several heavy metal and thrash metal bands.
Her first professional music experience was as the vocalist for the Canadian thrash metal band Minax, from 2008 to 2012.
Cara is best known for her stint in the Canadian thrash metal band Mortillery. She joined them in 2008. They’ve released three studio albums and an ep since 2010. Mortillery have been on an indefinite hiatus since 2018.
In 2019 Cara joined the melodic death/thrash metal band Naitaka. So far the band has released one full-length studio album and an ep.
In 2025 Cara contributed vocals to the debut album by the power/speed metal band, On Fire.
