About Camella Donner

Camella Donner, also known as Camella Thomas, is a popular late 1970s and early 1980s Black British glamour model. She appeared in Mayfair and other magazines, and managed one movie role, a blink-and-you-miss-her moment in 1983’s Octopussy. It was an effort the producers didn’t even bother to credit.

She also appeared in poster and magazine adverts for Polaroid sunglasses and Joy soap for the Nigerian market, and she blew minds in Britain during an appearance on BBC's popular Top of the Pops. As the group Heatwave played their hit song "Too Hot To Handle", a scantily clad Donner gyrating to a backdrop of flames was superimposed over the group.
