About Bridget Jacobs
Bridget Jacobs, 20, of Maple Grove Minnesota, is currently enrolled in her sophomore year at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She is studying business at the Carlson School of Management. and plans to major in marketing. She is the daughter of Brian and Diane Jacobs and has one older brother, Brady. The last member of the Jacobs family is their fluffy and very loving golden retriever named Jesse.
Bridget is fortunate to have had multiple international experiences, including a 10-day service trip to Kingston, Jamaica in 2014 with her school and a business trip with her father to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. As a student at the Carlson School of Management, she will also have the opportunity to study abroad during her time as an undergraduate. She looks forward to exploring more of the world.
In her free time, Bridget loves to rollerblade, complete DIY crafts, and also bake any kind of sweet treat. As a true Minnesotan, she enjoys being up north at her family cabin on Girl Lake. Some of her best times growing up were made around the campfire or at her family’s annual water volleyball tournament.
Upon graduation, Bridget plans to stay close to her family in the Twin Cities to start her business career. She dreams of working at a large Minnesota-based corporation like General Mills, Target, or Cargill. She is honored to represent Minnesota this year at the 2016 Miss USA pageant.
