About Brandon Merrill
Brandon Merrill is an American actress and former fashion model best known for her role in the 2000 comedy-western film Shanghai Noon (where she appeared as a Native American woman, often referred to as the “Indian Wife” or Falling Leaves). This remains her most widely credited acting role; there are no widely confirmed subsequent film or TV credits listed in major filmography databases and it seems that after her appearance in Shanghai Noon, Merrill largely stepped back from acting and public life.
Merrill competed in rodeo events and was recognized as a rodeo champion before entering the entertainment world. She first gained broader attention after being featured in an article about the Cheyenne Rodeo in W Magazine.
After that feature, she was signed by DNA Models and worked as a fashion model, appearing in print ad campaigns for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and The Limited, and in publications including Vogue and the Abercrombie & Fitch catalog.
