About Beata Chmielowska
Her mother is Dr. hab. Danuta Chmielowska, a Turkologist, leading Beata to spend part of her childhood in Turkey. She joined Telewizja Polska (TVP) in 1998, starting out as a presenter on Teleexpress Junior. Shortly after, she became one of the primary, long-standing hosts of TVP1's flagship news broadcast Teleexpress. Over her career, she has hosted several TVP shows including Kawa czy herbata?, Popołudnie z Jedynką, Poranek w TVP Info, and Senior Express. She has also hosted various music festivals and galas (such as the Opole Festival). In addition to her hosting duties, she appeared in projects like the movie Sen o kanapce z żółtym serem and the comedy series Bulionerzy, as well as competing in the TVP musical show Star Voice. Gwiazdy mają głos. In 2020, she was nominated for a Telekamera award, and in 2021, she was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit (Złoty Krzyż Zasługi) for her charitable work and public contributions.
