About Barbara Marzano
Daughter of a journalist and a sales assistant in a clothing store on Via Sistina in Rome, in 1971 she was noticed by director Fernando Di Leo who offered her a part in the film La seduzione, alongside Lisa Gastoni and Jenny Tamburi. The film, due to its particularly scabrous content for the time, had considerable difficulty obtaining a censorship visa, so much so that it arrived in theaters two years late, in 1973.
However, the physical qualities shown during filming offered Marzano a certain notoriety in the environment, procuring her numerous engagements in film productions, especially in the decamerotic and horror genres. She abandoned the scene in 1975.
