Known by the nickname "Chami," she also performed under various stage names, including Shigemi Ueno, Ayuko Kokuritsu, and Yumi Kayama. Early Career and Rise to Fame
Before entering the AV industry, Asami Jo worked as a conventional talent. In 1995, under the name Shigemi Ueno, she gained significant attention as the face of major television commercials for Menard Cosmetics and Asahi Soft Drinks.
