About Anna Cockrell
Anna Cockrell is an American professional track and field athlete who specializes in the 400-meter hurdles. Born in California in 1997, she developed into one of the top collegiate hurdlers in the United States while competing for the University of Southern California.
During her collegiate career, Cockrell won multiple NCAA championships and earned numerous All-American honors, establishing herself as one of the premier 400-meter hurdlers in collegiate athletics. She continued to develop into an elite international competitor, representing the United States at major global championships.
Cockrell reached the Olympic level, competing in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and winning a silver medal in the event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, marking a major breakthrough on the world stage.
