Ann is the sister of fellow model Janice Pennington, and like Janice, appeared as a model on game shows. Her most notable work was as a regular on Card Sharks, but she also appeared as a substitute in 1976 on the Dennis James-hosted version of The Nighttime Price Is Right. She also appeared in commercials and for photos illustrating stories in Cosmopolitan magazine.
Pennington married Shaun Cassidy, who was eight years junior to her, in December 1979. They had two children together, and were divorced in 1993.
Ann's daughter: Caitlin Ann was the Playboy Cyber Girl of the week for February 28, 2011.
Caitlin Ann said, "When I was younger, I was shy about my mom being a Playmate, but as I got older, I grew to appreciate it. And now that I've posed as well I have a new appreciation and respect for her and for Playboy as well. Playboy truly knows how to showcase a woman's body and its beauty. Do people say I look like my mom? All the time! They think we're sisters. And to me that's a totally flattering compliment."

JANICE AND ANN PENNINGTON were both Playmates of the Month; Ann appeared in March 1976 and Janice was Miss May 1971. They are two of PLAYBOY's most popular Playmates. Janice has been a regular on the long-running game show, The Price Is Right. Ann has appeared on several television shows, including Truth or Consequences and, with Janice, on The Price Is Right. Ann made news a few years ago when she wed onetime teen idol Shaun Cassidy. Janice is the dark-haired sister on the following pages. Ann is the mother of another playmate, Caitlin Ann, who was Playboys Cyber girl of the week September 8, 2003.
