About Angela Lavilla Canedo

Ángela is an Asturias, Spain-based ecotherapist, facilitator of expressive vital movement, Spanish teacher, and former academic.
She has a background in biochemistry, a Master’s in Gender Relations, and a PhD in Humanities from the University of Sheffield. She lived in the UK for over 10–11 years, taught Spanish language, Hispanic literature/culture, and translation, and has continued offering online Spanish classes. She has also trained in eco-psychology/nature-based practice, Forest School leadership, Río Abierto system, and related areas.
Ángela practices and promotes nude wild swimming as a core part of her rewilding and nature-connection practice. She has shared that she swims naked as her preferred, natural way of being in water, finds it transformational and a source of connection/home, and runs a Patreon to share experiences, reflections, and related outdoor movement/dance content.
