Perpetrator: Anderson Rodrigues Leitão (ex-boyfriend), who confessed to strangling/asphyxiating her following a dispute and jealousy.
Legal Outcome: Leitão was arrested in November 2015 and later convicted by a jury in December 2017 to 11 years and 4 months in prison for qualified homicid
