Amber Dean-Smith is a former glamour model and actress.
She was the very first Penthouse Pet of the Month in October 1965 and subsequently the first Pet of the Year in 1966. The photographer was Phillip O. Stearns. Smith also appeared in a non-centerfold 1969 pictorial.

After 19-year-old Amber Dean-Smith appeared in a monthly centerfold for Penthouse almost 12 months prior, the magazine’s editorial office was bombarded with numerous fan and love letters addressed to the blonde beauty. Owner Bob Guccione decided an award and follow up pictorial should be given to the buxom pin-up, resulting in her commendation as the label’s first Pet of the Year for September 1966. Not only did Ms. Dean-Smith win favour with Penthouse readers, but with the British public as well, appearing in additional top shelf magazines such as Mayfair and the Hammer film Moon Zero Two. As of today, Amber’s last known photoshoot was for Men Only in 1973.
