About Amanda Goff
Amanda is a Sydney-based columnist, podcaster, and Pilates instructor; who has authored two books. She was a tabloid-journalist in London, UK before moving to Sydney and writing for Australia's top selling woman's magazines and appearing as a media expert on television.
At the age of 37, and a divorced mother-of-two, Amanda became a prostitute at Sydney's most infamous brothel.
Using the moniker Samantha X she became Australia's highest-paid, and most infamous escort. She later founded her own escort agency and wrote two bestselling memoirs, Hooked and Back on Top, as the mysterious Samantha X, before revealing her identity on national television. Due to sustained alcohol abuse and a bipolar diagnosis, Samantha X retired from sex work in 2017.
In 2024 she was diagnosed with Non-Sustained Ventricular Tachycardia.

I think she's known as a madam. I wonder how many famous clients did she have. I don't think we should judge her on her career. It must've taken great courage to basically come out on national television as Samantha X. She gets a lot of respect from me.
