Janine Lindemulder began working in adult entertainment when she modeled for Penthouse Magazine for the December 1987 issue as the Pet of the Month. She made several more appearances in Penthouse over the next decade. Lindemulder attempted to break into mainstream films and had minimal success in that arena. Her first role was in the 1988 Italian film Bersaglio sull'autostrada, or Moving Target in English. She went on to act in other low-budget films such as Spring Break USA and Caged Fury. Her appearance in Penthouse led to a role in a video released by that company, Penthouse Satin & Lace, that opened the door for her eventual debut in XXX films.

Career
Lindemulder made her XXX debut in the 1992 feature Hidden Obsessions. She later signed a contract with Vivid to become an exclusive Vivid girl, agreeing to only perform sex scenes with other women. Her first Vivid release was titled Parlor Games, and she would go on to be featured in over fifty other titles for the company, including Bad Girls 1: Lockdown, Bushel and a Peck, And The Winner Is... Janine, and Blonde Justice parts 1-3. Over the course of her career, Lindemulder appeared in about 160 films for various production companies, including Vivid, Brazzers, Digital Playground, and a few others. During her initial tenure with Vivid, Lindemulder continued to branch out into other forms of entertainment. She formed half of the exotic dancing duo Blondage, along with fellow adult film performer Julia Ann; the duo even headlined several videos for Vivid.

Retirement and Comeback
Lots of adult performers retire to pursue other interests, but it's not often you hear of one leaving porn to pursue a career teaching kindergarten. But that's just what Lindemulder did in 1999, taking the time away from the biz to become a teacher and focus on raising her kids. But then in 2004, she made a comeback to the big screen, this time working with both men and women. Her first scene back was with Nick Manning in Maneater. No longer contractually obligated to Vivid, she signed a new contract with Digital Playground. Lindemulder went on to work with Digital Playground, performing in films such as Pireates, Mrs. Behavin', and Sugar Mommas.

Mainstream Appearances
Lindemulder crossed over into mainstream media when she appeared in the 1997 Howard Stern film, Private Parts. She also appeared on Stern's TV and radio shows as a featured guest. She was the cover model for Blink-182's album Enema of the State, and appeared in their video for the song What's My Age Again? as a nurse. Lindemulder has also appeared in several other music videos for various artists.
