About Bri Marshall

Bri Marshall is an IFBB Pro competitor, personal trainer, competition prep coach and lifestyle coach. After overcoming her battle with being overweight and dealing with depression, Bri started her bodybuilding career in 2018. She has climbed her way up from competing at the novice level figure, to open figure in 2019, and then taking the title of IFBB Pro Figure at her first go round at the 2020 JR USA Bodybuilding Championships.

While at the 2020 JR USA Bodybuilding Championships, she competed in three divisions : wellness, figure and women’s physique. She held her own in both figure and women’s physique divisions by winning her class in both divisions, coming in one placing short of a pro card in women’s physique and locking down the pro card in the figure division.

Bri is a former division 1 soccer player. She started playing when she was 3 years old. After enduring her 4th concussion during her senior year of high school, Bri went through months of recovery with occupational, speech, and cognitive therapies. She was released by doctors back to play before reporting to The Citadel Military College of South Carolina. During her first couple weeks at the college, she participated in the athlete’s “Hell Week” (basic training for knobs/freshmen) where after, symptoms from her concussion returned. Due to doctor’s orders, she found she could not play contact sports anymore because it would be a life threatening risk. Depression and weight gained followed shortly after.

The competitive athlete persona still remained alive within, so Bri decided to make a lifestyle change to drop the extra weight and then quickly transitioned into the bodybuilding lifestyle. She utilizes her athletic and social media influence to inspire others to make healthier lifestyle choices. Being a good role model in the health and fitness community is very important to her. She hopes to spread positivity and knowledge to as many people as possible.
